Higa Model Boarding School Students Visit the Ajora Twin Waterfalls
99 Grade 12 students from Higa Model Boarding School, run by the Kembata People's Development Association, visited the scenic Ajora Twin Waterfalls located in the Hadero Tunto Zuria District of the Kembata Zone following the completion of their 2018 academic year.
The trip served as an educational tour designed to give students practical insight into natural resources, eco-tourism values, and the vital importance of environmental conservation and local culture.
During the visit, students experienced the surrounding natural beauty firsthand and deepened their understanding of their personal responsibility to protect natural resources for future generations. Educational field trips like this play a significant role in broadening students' knowledge, encouraging a love for nature, and boosting awareness of local tourism.
The event was attended by the Executive Director and officials of the Kembata People's Development Association, members of the Higa Model Boarding School management team, participating students, and the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) chairperson.
